DURING OUR IMMERSIVE GLASSBLOWING SESSIONS, YOU WILL BE GUIDED BY AN EXPERIENCED ARTIST TO CREATE A VARIETY OF SIGNATURE ITEMS. ORNAMENTS, CUPS, BOWLS, ROCKERS, SPLASHES, ORBS, VASES, AND MORE!
YOU WILL CHOOSE THE ITEMS AND COLORS AT TIME OF THE APPOINTMENT.
THESE SESSIONS CAN BE BOOKED FOR ONE PERSON UP TO THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS LISTED ON EACH APPOINTMENT.

Our Introduction to glassblowing class at the SLC studio provides a welcoming and supportive environment for those taking their first steps as a glass artist!
In this 4-part class learn the fundamental techniques of glassblowing, from gathering and shaping to blowing and forming. You will become familiar with the tools of the trade, from jacks and shears to blowpipes and punties.
Participants will be given comprehensive orientation to the studio, equipment, and safety protocols.
Duration: 4-part class series is offered over 2-4 weeks in three hour sessions.
Supplies: All tools, and supplies are included.
Dates: Wednesday, or Thursdays starting in 2024 *If possible the class will start at the beginning of the month.
